Asked 4/23/2016- San Antonio, TX

A car full of teens pulled in front of me in a 55 mph zone. I had to slam breaks to avoid hitting them. They moved over to let me pass but at the stop light the driver backed up her car to where she was close enough to me for her passenger to throw a heavy object at my windshield. They cracked my windshield and drove off. I followed and got the plate number, make and model and filed a report. The plates were paper, so in a month I want to follow up with PD to press charges.

Answer

You may contact the local police department and describe the events that occurred. It is up to law enforcement to determine the appropriate charges that should be filed, given the fact situation.
