I filed a police report 2 months ago because someone was logging into my cell phone account online, no goods or services taken just logging in. Nothing else has happened since I changed my password. The police do not have an answer for who it was after 2 months, does that mean the investigation is pretty much done? Is it possible they didn’t see this as worth investigating to begin with?

You will have to speak with the detective assigned to your case to determine the status of the investigation. If you do not know who the detective is, call the police department and give the report number and you can find out the name and number of the detective assigned.
