Hi I’m a truck driver I was gone away from home when this happened I live in Texas my stepdaughter boyfriend told me he had a valid driver’s license and even showed it to me and since my wife and stepdaughter don’t have a license I put him on my insurance policy. And here’s what happened he was driving to go get my stepdaughter from work he got pulled over for the license plate light being out and when the officer ran his license it came back that his license was suspended and that’s all he got a ticket for was driving with a suspended license

Texas Transportation Code Section 521.458 (b) – “A person may not authorize or knowingly permit a motor vehicle owned by or under the control of the person to be operated by a person in violation of this chapter.” The section before (521.457) deals with driving while license invalid. Contact a local attorney to determine why his license is suspended and whit it will take to clear it up.
