Answer
Assault on a Public Servant is a 3rd degree felony, punishable by a fine of up to $10,000, incarceration in prison from 2 to 20 years, or a maximum probationary period of up to 10 years. Endangerment of a child can be a state jail felony, a 3rd degree felony, or a 2nd degree felony, depending on the facts and how the State chooses to file the charges. Resisting Arrest and Assault/Family Violence are class a misdemeanors, punishable by a fine of up to $4,000, incarceration in the county jail for up to 1 year, or a maximum probationary period of up to 24 months. If your friend cannot post bond, he will remain in jail until his cases are finalized, either bu way of plea bargain or by trial.
