Asked 5/13/2016 – Houston, TX

I am participating in a high school mock trial for my AP government class. Explaining the case’s situation would not be possible because of the character limit.

Answer

You have 2 separate issues; roadblocks and profiling. Roadblocks CAN be instituted by law enforcement under certain parameters, but profiling is unconstitutional. I would focus on the restrictions and circumstances placed on law enforcement where roadblocks were permissible.
