I’m on deferred probation for a failure to I.D. misdemeanor (1 year beginning in January ). I’m 2 months behind on my probation payments and I failed my last drug screening for marijuana. I’ve Been sentenced to 1 weekend in county jail.

If you have been sentenced to serve one weekend in jail and fail to report as directed, it is a separate felony offense (just like if you attempted to escape from prison). Go to the court that sentenced you IMMEDIATELY and let the Judge know about your situation. If you are currently in the hospital, call the attorney who represented you, and have him/her talk with the Judge. If you fail to appear, the default mode for the system is for a warrant for your arrest to issue, and it will be much more difficult to clean up your situation at that point.
