Asked 5/20/2015 – Southlake, TX

My son is on probation for an MIP in a big south Texas college. He is home for the summer and just received a paraphernalia citation. No other record, great student!

Answer

Both of these matters are class c violations punishable by fine only (max $500). Convictions on these types of cases may affect your son’s driver’s license, so contact a local attorney on the new ticket.
