i was caught stealing cheap headphones from family dollar and all the manager did was kick me out and bar me from the store, is there a chance that I could get charged for trying to steal them.

Answer

Yes, there is a chance you could be criminally charged, but without your personal information, it would be difficult for the store manager to inform the police on who to file the charges against. If you go back to the store, however, then you might have an issue.
