Asked 6/22/2016 – Sinton, TX

I’ve had a job offer & I accepted it (I start July 5, 2016) but my problem is that my PO hasn’t answered any of my phone calls on the day of my job offer nor the next 4 business days. I even left 2 voicemails (Of my employment, pay, etc.) out of the numerous phones calls I called throughout the day. My PO has always answered my phone calls until my recent job offer.
I’ve abided in my Pretrial Diversion since I started & I’m afraid that this would be a violation since my PO could say that this is my violation since “I didn’t report about my employment”.

Answer

Don’t be passive, don’t be paralyzed and don’t be a victim, claiming “What could I do. My phone calls were not returned”. Go to the probation Office. Write a letter to probation. Send an email. Have your attorney go up to court and tell the judge your problem. If anything goes wrong, YOU will be kicked out of the program and run the risk of a criminal conviction, so YOU make sure nothing goes wrong
