My ex-boyfriend took my child who he is not the father of. He picked him up from school and was told by me to bring me my child he did not he was also texted to bring me my child he did not. I did not get my child for two days. I did make a police report and they did nothing for kidnapping. I called the police that night. They said that this is not a form of kidnapping. My child is 6yrs old.

If the police refused to file criminal charges, then, in their opinion, no kidnapping occurred. Remove your ex- from all school, day care and whatever else authorizations he may have on file and more on. You can’t file criminal charges without the police, and they have turned you down. Don’t try to get back at him. Don’t try to prove you were right and he was wrong. Anyone who would keep a child from his mother for 2 days isn’t worth fretting over. There is a reason why he is your ex. Get him out of your life, and find better.
