Asked 7/22/2016 – El Paso, TX

Was found not guilty on 13th of July and I saw my PR bond on the 20th. She said she would remove the home smart start do it on Thursday but I don’t want to pay another month of service. Its court order for me to be excused I’m further cost.

Answer

Any order to remove the Smart Start device should have been signed as soon as you were found not guilty. You are not obligated to pay any more money for the device. The Smart Start provider may not remove the device without a court order and if they won’t, call your lawyer and have the order of removal signed pronto..
