I recently was arrested and charged for what was a simple error at the self-checkout my friend and I got theft charges in Amarillo Texas for over ringing some items they refused to let me have some items that I paid for they refused to let us see the video the other lady said she would show my receipt n explain what I done wrong but she lied they wouldn’t refund our money they kept my dl they said that they seem us having issues w an item but we scanned but instead of helping us they said we were stealing and we went in fact they stole from us it may be only a few $ worth of items but the money it took to bail out plus the charge we got for something that was an accident is awful we spent 150$ for stuff and sum of it we didn’t even get I now have to pay for a new dl or will they pay my ticket for not having one of I get pulled over who knows they probably sold it to illegals it identity thieves for all I know it’s just not rite hat they done but I’m guessing we no longer have rights in the year 2016

Answer

1) Retain a local attorney to represent you in any potentate theft charges. 2) Report your driver’s license as missing to the Department of Public Safety and obtain another one.
