I was on federal probation after a lengthy drug sentence. I was only out 2 yrs & sent back for another 10 yrs because of a probation violation. This is what happened. A little over a year after being released prison, I pulled up at a restaurant and was approached by two police officers for no reason. Because my family & my last name they wanted to introduce themselves, family has alleged connections to organized crime. I was never arrested detained or questioned. 8 months after this incident, I was indicted on a drug charge. Police officers said they found drugs on the ground. I did not go to court because I did not want to do life in prison (possibly 25-life). I signed for 41 months. In front of the judge, because of my previous charges, mostly drug offenses gave me 10 yrs. I now have done 49 months.

You cannot retry your case and contest the factual allegations against you. You made the decision to avoid trial and you must live with that decision. Early release will be determine by parole, so you can find out when your first eligibility date is, then contact your attorney around that time.
