Is it illegal for a 15 year old to date a 19 year old with just kissing in Texas?

I am a sophomore in high school talking to a sophomore in college. Lately we’ve been getting a lot of hate from our society because they say it’s illegal.

Answer

It is illegal for a 15 year old to have any sexual contact with a 19 year old. Sexual Contact is defined in Texas Penal Code Section 21.01 and Section 21.11. Kissing does not constitute sexual contact as defined by the statute.
