If I have 3 traffic tickets that’s 8 years old in Texas Houston could I still go to the dmv and get my id renewed

Warrants do not just disappear. The fact 8 years have passed does not mean anything. Contact a local attorney in the county where the tickets are pending and find out what can be done. If you appear at the Department of Public Safety to renew your ID, and warrants are outstanding for your arrest, you will be taken into custody.
