Asked 10/1/2016 – Dallas, TX

When I finish probation it differed for a misdemeanor A evading arrest when will I be able to non-disclosure it and when I do get it non-disclosure can jobs see my record?

Answer

If your case is dismissed after successfully completing deferred adjudication probation, you may file a petition for non-disclosure to remove your case from public view. After the non-disclosure is granted, most employers will not be able to see these records, but certain State agencies and licensing boards will still have access to same. Contact a local attorney once your probation is completed.
