My boyfriend and I have just started dating and he is 18 right now but will be 19 in a week or 2 but I have just turned 17. Would he get in trouble?

The question is the age of the parties at the time of the act, not what a person “will be in a week or 2”. See Texas Penal Code Section 22.011 – Sexual Assault, Section 21.11 – Indecency with a Child, and Section 43.25 – Sexual Performance by a Child. The age of consent in Texas is 17. From a legal perspective, your boyfriend has more to worry about from your father than he does from the police.
