Asked 6/30/17 – Dallas, TX

I have served eight months and 14 days I’m tdc made parole and I violated parole and sent to isf for 3 1/2 months. Will my time count that I did at isf count towards my time towards tdc if revoke. My violation will be not going back to halfway house. I have done almost most of my two year sentence in tdc and isf will I get tdc or isf. My discharge date is this September.

Answer

Time served in an Intermediate Sanctions Facility does NOT count toward a prison sentence if a parolee is subsequently revoked.
