Asked 7/7/17- Denton, TX

I got my 2nd DWI back in May and had to get interlock installed on my car. I had one start violation which I am expecting to get reported to my pr-bond officer when I go to service my interlock. When they see this, will they drug test me? How soon will I go before a judge? I am planning to get an attorney soon.

Answer

The interlock will be reported to the Court and, if you are on probation, a motion to revoke your probation can be filed. If no judgment has been entered as of yet and the interlock is a condition of your bond, the Court can revoke your bond and hold you in jail until your case is resolved. Contact a local attorney IMMEDIATELY.
