Can someone cooperating with law enforcement give u drugs and then be arrested for me hiding them and charge me?

got pulled over boy tossed drugs on my lap I hide them .not knowing I had a warrant arrested me and then got the charge for the drugs he placed in my lap

Answer

From what you describe, yes, you can be charged with a criminal offense. You do not state what offense you were charged with, but I will assume it is some type of possession offense. Note that possession does not mean ownership, so if you take any contraband (such as drugs) and attempt to hide same, you can be charged with possession with said contraband.
