Asked 7/15/17 – San Antonio, TX

I have prior shoplifting charges and completed a prison term for theft enhancement. I recently picked up another shoplifting charge after 7 years.

Answer

There is no such thing as a class b felony. There are class a, b and c misdemeanors. Felonies can be classified as capital felonies, 1st, 2nd or 3rd degree felonies or state jail felonies. See Texas Penal Code Section 12. Bring any paperwork you have regarding this case to a local attorney for review to discover what charges you are facing.
