I’m a 16 male and I met a great 20 year old male and I really like him is it illegal if we were to get into a relationship with him? (No sex involved)

Answer

Define relationship. You can go to the movies with anyone you want, but the age of consent for sexual contact is 17. See Texas Penal Code Section 21.11 – Indecency with a Child, Section 22.011 – Sexual Assault, and Section 43.25 – Sexual Performance by a Child.
