Asked 1/22/2016 – Austin, TX

Got arrested and charged with stalking as felony, case no-billed by grand jury (no conviction). I’m visiting Canada soon. HOWEVER, a person committed or has been convicted of a crime is INADMISSIBLE TO CANADA according to CBSA website.

Answer

If your case was no-billed, it means that there is insufficient evidence to prosecute you. You have not been charged, nor convicted of a crime. Talk to an attorney about expungement of this matter.
