Does that violate my probation? And what should I do about the stop sign ticket?

currently on deferred probation in the city of Carrollton for two speeding tickets I got a few months ago the 6 month is not up until November. But, today I got a Stop sign ticket. What should I do since the stop sign ticket is also in the city of Carrollton?

Answer

A new citation does violate the terms of your deferred disposition probation. You will receive a notice from the city that a show cause hearing will be held on the cases where you are on deferred. If the Court finds you have violated the terms of your probation, convictions will be reported to the Department of Public Safety. You have the right to contest the new citation.
