Asked 8/16/17 – Crockett, TX

I have a couple of no insurance ticket. I need to know what can I say doing my hearing to not get them suspended.

Answer

Is the hearing on the no insurance citations or an administrative suspension filed by the Department of Public Safety? If it is a DPS suspension hearing, you should review the petition filed which alleges the grounds for the suspension, then provide evidence to refute those allegations. I have not seen the petition in your case, but I suspect the suspension is not only for receiving no insurance tickets. Convictions on the no insurance citations may have have initially caused your license to be suspended, but the DPS MAY have filed additional suspension proceedings because the conviction dates on one of your tickets proves you were driving while your license was already suspended. There are no magic words I can give you to make this matter disappear. Bring all documentation to a local attorney for review. Good Luck.
