My bf has an aggregated assault charge and went to prison for 2 1/2 years and got out and put on probation for 10 years failed one UA. Almost 2 years into probation and his court app. Attorney is saying he has a MTAG ….. how long do you think he will get and what he will be charged with oh and he was on addujudicated. Probation

On a notion to abdicate guilt, the full range of punishment is open to the court. On an aggravated assault – 2nd degree felony, that is 2 to 20 years incarceration in the Texas Department of Corrections. What the actual sentence will be depends on the DA recommendation, the reports from his probation field officer, and any mitigating circumstances presented to the court.
