During my marriage to my ex-husband, he asked me to take his college classes online while he was deployed. ( his commander was his proctor and provided me with the password to take tests ) I completed 8 classes and he was awarded an AA degree. This was 5 years ago. All of this was recently reported to the school and the Army. I haven’t given any information to anyone who has contacted me. Im wondering if I have any criminal liability in this situation.
Answer
You are complicit in the fraud. Make no further mention of this on the internet and speak to no one about this except for your attorney. If anyone from the Army, school, government or law enforcement tries to talk with you, do NOT speak with them until you have retained an attorney.
