i am being charged with a burglary of habitaiton. i didnt break into anybody house. i sold jewlry at pawn shop for these people. and then there was a warrant for my arrest. i didnt know that the jewlry was stolen. am i goin to go to prison ? i didnt break into nobodys house and would never do that. i feel i am being wrongfully charged

You have a possible defense to the burglary of a habitation charge, and you may be guilty of a lesser offense, but this is probably worth contesting (at least to a degree). You will have to be willing to be totally forthcoming about your involvement in this case and say who, what, when, where, and why about everybody involved. None of this “I got the stuff from this dude named Billy, but I don;t know his last name, where he lives, or where he got it”. The State is going after a conviction against SOMEBODY, and you were caught with the stolen goods. You’re going to have to give them someone else if you are going to get off the hook. Get a good attorney.
