Are the court fees and probation fees still enforceable if the offender goes to prison

My son was put on probation and within six months he was sent to prison and he was there for a little over 6 years what I’m trying to find out if he still liable for the probation fees

Answer

Fines and costs are still owed by convicts sent to prison. You son will no longer accrue probation fees, but the amount due at the time of his sentence will remain outstanding, along with any fines imposed plus court costs.
