My ex has had 7 Criminal Trespassing Charges since 2014, all with Public Intox charges also & one with a Possession of a dangerous drug chrg. Plus over 24 more PI’s in that time. Also FTA’s on all of them & i’m not sure what all else. He gets PR Bonds on all of them, usually with in 4 hrs of arrest. He has been to court on only two of the CT chrgs at the same time as the PDD chrg. He got 90 days on the CT & the PDD chgs & other CT was dismissed, plus fines & Court cost. He did less than a month in jail & got time served & jail credit for all the fines & court cost. He got out of jail again today on 2 old PI’s 2 FTA’s a new CT & PI & also a littering chrg. PR Bonds on all 7 chrgs. This man stalks me, harasses me, calls drunk, he’s an alcoholic & is pretty much always drunk, & leaves msgs from Walmart customer service among other places. Why or how is it he has only been to court on 2 out of 7 CT chrgs in the past 2 yrs & keeps getting PR Bonded out even with FTA’s. He is homeless by choice not because he has to be so he has never paid a penny on any of these chrgs. What can be done about this?

I don’t know about the status of your ex’s cases and why it has taken so long to dispose of some of them. If he is homeless, he probably qualifies as indigent and the court cannot force him to pay any money. I would like you to contact a local detective about stalking or harassment charges. Also, contact the family violence section of your local District Attorney’s office and ask about obtaining a Protective Order. If that does not pan out, contact a local attorney about obtaining a restraining order against your ex.
