Can a person convicted of a felony get out of jail on bond if he’s in jail before he’s convicted?

My husband has been indicted for drug possession he’s been convicted of the crime can I get him out on bond if he’s in jail?

Answer

I am unsure of the status of your husband’s case. He has been charged (indicted) for drug possession, found guilty (convicted) on that charge, then sentenced to jail on that charge? If that is the case, then no, he cannot get out on bond. If this is not the case, please advise.
