Asked 4/15/2016 – Jacksonville, TX

I was arrested for a crime I didn’t commit, I was sentenced to 7 and a half years, spent almost 2 years before I got out, my dad passed away while I was in prison, worse thing that has ever happen to me in my life.

Answer

I do not believe I have an accurate handle on your situation. Misreading a criminal record does not impose a 7 year sentence. What were you arrested for? What were you ultimately charged with? What were you found guilty of? Did you have a trial or enter into a plea bargain? What was the mistake in your criminal record? How do you believe this mistake affected the outcome of your case?
