Can I get a license to Cary in Texas

Asked 6/25/2016 – Amarillo, TX

Thank you for my time. I have two class A misdemeanors. One for deadly conduct, and the other for unlawful possession of a firearm. Both charges were deferred. They happened in 2010-11. My question, is can I obtain a LTC in Texas? I don’t want to take the class, spend the money, if I cannot. Thanks again.

If you were not convicted and the charges were dismissed, you should be able to obtain your CHL. You may visit the Texas DPS website for more details
