Asked 8/30/2016 – Houston, TX

In 2009, I received differed adjudication and in 2014 I got a non-disclosure on the case. I’m looking for some apartments and was wondering if I’m liable to get denied based off of my criminal history and if they have access to that information, since from my understanding only certain entities have access to the information after a non-disclosure. Thank you

Answer

If an order of non-disclosure was entered in your case, the general public should not be able to view any records of the event.
