i placed cash money in a safe owned by a good friend. i trusted this person. when i went to retrieve the money, she told me the safe was broken. when it was supposedly repaired my money was gone. first she accused me of getting it. she is an ex law enforcement st. she had gotten her P.I. license and would not help me investigate. the box the money was in was not taken but she told her brother she washed it with a detergent like cleaner WHY? she used slander against me causing me to lose work. she soon moved from our home town and never returns not even to see her parents. i filed a police report but it was LOST. her father owns the home the safe was in but he is in with the TOWNS PEOPLE, if you know what i mean. i date her brother and they also accused us of being dope heads. i am not a dope head but regardless who has the right to steal someones life savings and not suffer repercussions
Answer
If the police report was lost, file another one. If the police department won’t file another one, contact the county Sheriff’s Department. If the Sheriff’s Department won’t help, contact the State Attorney General’s Office. If the AG’s office won’t help, contact the US District Attorney’s Office. If they won’t help, you have to ask yourself why you are dating a man whose sister stole from and slandered you and whose father turned the turned the whole town against you.
