Can I report Statutory rape even if I am not the victim, nor am I related to the victim?

A woman I know stated that her husband fornicated with a 14 yr old (Statutorily) and a child was conceived in the process. The child is now born and the “victim” in now 15 yrs. Is there anything I can do? The “victim” nor the wife want to make a report to the police.

Answer

You have the ability to file any report you want with local law enforcement. What is done after you make the report is discretionary with the investigating detective.
