Answer
A motion to revoke probation and subsequent warrant can be issued for any violation; it is not required for a warning to be given on the first violation. Remember the probation department does not issue warrants, it is the Judge that entered your probation order. To have a warrant issued, the probation field officer will send your case back to court and ask the DA and court PO to prepare the motion to revoke and request a warrant be issued. Your field officer has the discretion to not send your file back to court.
