Asked 8/1/2016 – Dallas, TX

I was trying to see if the military or anyone can see why my charges were dropped? I had two felony charges and neither one of them did I ever went to court for. I got my records pulled for TXDPS and the action listed as “prosecutor has rejected the charge without a pre-trial diversion”

Could the military dig further and find out exactly why it was dropped?

Please let me know!

Thank you

Answer

The military has the ability to contact the District Attorney’s office and ask why the charges against you were not pursued. It is unknown what response the DA will provide, if any. Consider contact a local attorney about filing a petition for expunction.
