Could a rehab save me from jail time?

I’m on probation in Johnson County.
Served 71/2 years so far. Been revoked once and was in jail for 6 months about 3 years ago. I messed up smoked pot and have them take a hair follicle today and will most likely fail. If I put myself in rehab would that help keep me from jail time?

Answer

Rehab is NOT a magic bullet. You violated the terms of your probation and you are subject to whatever sanctions the Court decides to impose upon you. Contact your attorney ASAP. You may be continued on probation, sent to SAF-P or sent to prison. Good luck.
