I am being charged with possession.cs 1>4 grams.Myattorn says I’m eligible for deferred adjudication. I’m happy about it.I don’t use anymore and have been working same job for 15 yrs. Here’s the thing I’m worried about.I know if I don’t complete the deferred adjudication they can hand me a maximum sentence.I drive to work everyday but I don’t have a driver’s license. If I get stopped or charged with operating without license will they consider that a violation of probation.

Answer

Any violation of the law will be grounds to revoke your probation. Get a driver’s license, or if there is a problem in obtaining a regular license, contact a local attorney about obtaining an occupational driver’s license.
