If this case is pending in Dallas County, please be patient. Dallas is a big city, there are lots of cases and the courts are processing them as fast as they can. As a defenses attorney, I have several cases that have been pending for over a year or two. You may contact the prosecutor assigned to the case to determine the status of the matter, but to be frank, although this case is probably the most important thing in your life right now, it may be case number 116 for the prosecutor in question.
