My xwife told the police I came to her work and threaten her with a gun, the police came to my house around 2am with guns in my face and ask me if they could search my truck I said yes they didn’t find a gun in my truck then. They ask to search my room I said yes they got my 30.06 rifle and arrested me for having a gun in my house. The case was no bill but the law states u have the right to bear arms for protection, I’m an exfelony but, I’m allow to protect myself.

Answer

The police were investigating a crime and during the course of the investigation, they discovered a gun in the possession of a convicted felon. The fact the case was no-billed does NOT, in my opinion, give you a chance of success in a civil suit against law enforcement.
