I am on an ankle monitor at a halfway house and I am scheduled time out. On today my monitor time was 9 am to 5 pm and then from 9:30 pm to 11:30 pm. Well I am supposed to go to n/a, a/a meetings every day. But I miss read my time sheet and left the house at 6:20pm to be at a meeting at 7:30pm. I left the meeting at 7:30 pm and got back home at 7:45pm. When I got back home the house leader told me that the monitoring center called the house 5 minutes before I walked through the door. I did all this by accident and did not mean to do it. I was only gone for about an hour or so then came back. The house leader said that this happens often and that I should not worry about it. just call my parole officer on Monday morning first thing and she can get the blue warrant taken care of. He also said the can see where I was and when I left and when I came back home. My ankle monitor is still in place.
Answer
Contact your parole officer; explain the situation and you should be OK. Any parole violation CAN be a reason for revocation within the discretion of the parole officer, but I think your house leader is right.
