Does DPS notify secretary of state

I think I could be very much enrolled in a surcharge program for my over exceeding speeding tickets I have 8 points and received a DPS notice quoting about the program but never enrolled me it just gave me a notice for now. From what I understand Secretary of State issues out or says if I’m to be enrolled will DPS notify Secretary of State.

You may contact the DPS to see if surcharges have been assessed on your driver’s license. Talking with a local attorney is a good idea as well.
