Does the state of Texas offer inpatient rehab in lieu of jail/prison time for DUI? If so, what is the maximum stay?

Answer

For misdemeanor cases in Dallas County, there is no in-patient rehabilitation options, but depending on the specifics of each case, there is a DWI court program. On felony DWI cases, in-patient treatment is possible as a condition of probation. Contact a local attorney to discuss your options and find out what you are eligible for.
