I was arrested for possession of a controlled substance pg 1 under 1 gram. This is my second time. While serving a 15 month sentence for this previously I learned of someone with my same charge getting sentenced to 1 day county jail.

The best way to avoid going to prison is to quit committing new offenses. The fact that you “heard” about “some case” about “something” is totally irrelevant to your fact situation. Who is this parson? What are the facts of that case? What was that person’s criminal history? Unless the person you heard of is a co-defendant with you and facing the exact same situation, this mythical case has no bearing on your problem. Retain a local attorney and see what your options are. Good luck.
