How can I get my fingerprints removed from the FBI database? 20 years ago I went to jail for a theft 50 the case was dismissed?

I am trying to get a job as a teacher 20 years later and this is now coming up. What can I do?

Answer

You MAY be able to obtain an expunction, depending on how the case was dismissed. Get the court and case number where the dismissal was entered and talk with a local attorney.
