How can i reinstate my suspended license without paying the surcharges?

My driver license has been suspended since 2004. I have 36 surcharges adding up to 9k. I’ve been willing to get driver license back, but how?

Answer

You may apply for a reduction in the surcharges with the DPS or you can file a petition for an occupational license;l the petition can be filed with the Justice of the Peace or the court court. i suggest you contact a local attorney. I am sure you can retain one for far less than the surcharges owed.
