I have a warrant issued for my arrest
Because of this warrant have not been able to find new job and about to loose car
Found out yesterday after picking up a copy of warrant and ticket w/ pic on it that it was not me the person did not have DL
Gave cop my name and DOB
In which now I am in the spot I am in cause of the warrant

Answer

Contact the court where the warrant is pending. Inform them of the identity theft and if they have a policy on how to handle this type of matter. If they do not, you may have to retain a local attorney. Also, contact the Department of Public Safety about the ID theft and file an incident report with local law enforcement; this ticket may not be the only issue out there.
