Asked 3/22/2016 – Bandera, TX

I was arrested in May, on a felony drug possession charge. My friends were driving me home because I had been drinking. I was in the back seat sleeping when the driver failed to use the turn signal and was pulled over. I was intoxicated and only remember being asked to get out of the truck. I remember saying it was mine, meaning the truck. I was arrested for less than a gram of THC, which was not mine. 20,000 dollar bond, a week in jail and I have been to all 5 pre trial court dates since. Lab results are still not in. What they found wasn’t mine, and the driver and friend got to walk away from this.

Answer

If the lab results have not been returned, has your case been indicted? What level of charge is pending against you? You have to get an attorney. This is not Judge Judy where you will just go into court, tell your Judge what you have outlined above, and have the Judge say. “Oh.. OK. Case dismissed.” Whether you feel it is justified are not, you are facing time in PRISON. Act accordingly.
